Primary Section Study Tour – A Journey of Learning and Discovery The Primary Section organised study tours for Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 students as part of the first-term activities. The tours provided valuable opportunities for students to explore new places, gain practical knowledge, and connect classroom learning with real-life experiences. Grade 1 students visited Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal, where they learned about traditional Ayurvedic medicine, medicinal plants, and the importance of Ayurveda in healthcare. Grade 2 students visited Kottakkunnu, Malappuram, where they enjoyed the scenic beauty of the place and learned about its historical and cultural significance. They also visited the Agricultural Research Station, Anakkayam, where they gained insights into agricultural practices, crop cultivation, and the importance of scientific research in farming. Grade 3 students visited Thrissur Zoological Park, Puthur, where they observed different animals and learned about wildlife, biodiversity, and the importance of protecting animals and their natural habitats. The study tours were enjoyable and informative experiences for our young learners. They encouraged curiosity, observation, and experiential learning while helping students develop a better understanding of nature, traditional healthcare, agriculture, wildlife, and the world around them.
