The CBSE Board vide Circular No. Acad-80/2021 had announced to initiate and establish the 'Peer Educators Leadership in Life Skills, Health and Well being Program' for its students.The board launched the program on 23rd November 2021.
In order to provide this platform to facilitate Life Skills for the students of our school , MES Central School Tirur has begun this program with a team of Students, Teacher mentors and Counsellors in the month of September 2024.
The program was officially inaugurated by the honourable Chairman , Mr Anvar Sadath Kalliyath.The program was presided over by School Principal Mr Madhusoodanan.
They launched the official logo and named the program as 'Mentor Minds'. ,
Welcome speech was done by Teacher Mentor Mr Afsal, felicitations were done by counsellor Ms Shalima and Ms Rameesha Thasneem .
The School Vice Principal, Benny sir shared his expectations and reminded the students that they are entrusted to be the role models for other students and to make use of their potential for the well being of the school.Head master of Secondary section Mr Mujeeb Rahman addressed the audience with blessings and all well wishes from his side..Peer Educators were given an opportunity to listen and interact with a young entrepreneur Mr Risil Haq, who is the CEO of My Versity Skill School at the age of 19 years .He gave a spark to begin different programs under the banner of Mentor Minds...the program winded up by deciding to have two meetings every month in which one session will be utilized for grooming the personality and behaviour of Peer Educators by Teacher mentors and Counsellors.
