The orientation programme for Pre-Primary Montessori Directresses conducted by the MES School Education Board, Kerala was held on the 29th of June, 2024 at MES Central School, Tirur. The programme started off with a Prayer @ 10:00by the choir team of MES Central School, Tirur. Mr Madhusudhanan V P, the principal of the host school, welcomed the gathering. This was followed by the presidential address by Mr Anwar Sadath Kalliyath, the chairman of MES Central School, Tirur. Mr Mohammed Shafi K, MES Malappuram District President inaugurated the programme. In his inaugural address he mentioned about the significance of the Montessori method and how the institutions under MES following the Montessori method are doing excellently well in this regard. Dr Mujeeb Rahman the President of Montessori Council, MES Education Board also addressed the gathering. Mr Salam P Lilies the Secretary and Mr Abdul Jaleel, the Treasurer of the host school felicitated the function. The floor was then left open for the training session. The first session was handled by Ms. Rameesha Thesneem, Counsellor, MES Central School, Tirur followed by the session on preparation and presentation of circle time handled by Ms Meera T S, MES Kuttipuram, Ms Hemalatha, Ms Jayasree & Ms Sumithra(MES Tirur), Ms Sreeja (MES Valanchery) and Ms Nasriya(MES Mangalam). The Third session on Guidelines of Directress's diary and other documents was handled by Ms Meera T S(MES Kuttipuram). After the lunch the session was handled by Ms Pushpalatha, Pricipal MMI Tirur. The programme concluded at 3:00pm with the vote of thanks by Mr Benny P T, Asst. Director, MES SEB, Kerala.
Demonstration Class for parents of Pre-Primary Montessori students

Parents of Pre-Primary Montessori Juniors and Seniors were invited to school to their children’s Montessori environments in order to experience and understand the Montessori methodology. This was done by a visual presentation of all the activities of the year, using materials by the respective directresses.
This program was conducted on 22-6-24(Saturday). The session for parents of Juniors was conducted from 10 am to 12 noon and for parents of Seniors the timing was from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Parents responded well with their presence in huge numbers. They acquired a clear idea regarding the curriculum and the directresses cleared all their doubts regarding the Montessori method. We received a good feedback from parents regarding the two demonstration sessions conducted on the day.
