Primary Montessori
The Primary Montessori of MES Central School, Tirur celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm and joy..The celebration reflected the rich cultural heritage and festive spirit of Kerala.Children wore colourful kerala dress which enhanced the beauty of festival .Our little ones dressed up as Maveli, Vamana and Puli, adding colour and charm to the occasion. The children also participated enthusiastically in various cultural programmes, including group songs and Onam-themed dances. The celebrations provided them with an opportunity to learn about and appreciate the traditions of Onam. Special colouring sheets were given to integrate art and festivity On 20 August 2026, the celebrations continued with a delicious traditional Onam Sadhya served to all the children. The day was filled with happiness, togetherness and memorable moments, making the Onam celebration a truly joyful experience for our young learners.
Pre-Primary
Onam celebration of Pre-Primary section 2026-27 The Pre-Primary Section celebrated Onam with great joy and enthusiasm through a special assembly filled with culture, fun, and togetherness. Our respected Principal, Mr. Madhusudhanan, Vice-Principal, Mr. Benny P. T., and HM, Mrs. Hemalatha, graced the occasion and shared inspiring messages. The children enjoyed a lively Onam skit, vibrant Pulikali, the exciting arrival of Maveli, and fun games like Musical Chairs and Tug of War. The celebrations continued with a creative colouring activity and concluded with a delicious Onam Sadhya which they joyfully enjoyed together. A joyful celebration of tradition, culture, colours, and togetherness, filled with laughter, happiness and cherished moments-creating lasting and beautiful memories for our little ones!
