The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with various programs.
At the Independence Day celebrations held at Tirur M.E.S. Central School, School principal, Mr. Madhusoodanan V P, hoisted the national flag. School chairman Advocate Mr.Husain Koya Thangal presided over the function. Mr.Sudheesh K. K., Civil Excise Officer from the Excise Department Office, Tirur, was the chief guest.
He urged the students to completely stay away from drugs and intoxicants spreading in society today, and to move forward with hard work and determination to achieve their goals.
School head girl R. Anamika welcomed the gathering. School secretary Mr. Salam P. Lillis delivered the keynote address. School treasurer Mr. Abdul Jaleel K,joint secretaryMr. Najmuddin Kallingal, and others offered felicitations. Vice chairman . School head boy K. Muhammad Shifan proposed the vote of thanks. Patriotic songs, yoga, roller skating, and various programs were conducted. The colorful mass drill presented by pre-primary Montessori students attracted everyone’s attention.
