Fruits Day Celebration of Pre-Primary Montessori on 31/7/2025. The Fruits Day celebration of Pre-Primary was a vibrant and engaging event, showcasing the importance of fruits in our lives. The event began with a special assembly conducted by students from the Emilia and Freesia environments. Amesha of Freesia welcomed everyone with a warm speech, setting the tone for the celebration.
A skit about fruits, performed by senior children from Emilia and Freesia, was a highlight of the assembly. Each environment also had a child participate in a fun riddle about fruits, keeping everyone engaged. The keynote address was delivered by our HM, Jyothi Gopal, emphasizing the significance of fruits in our diet. Vice Principal Mr. Benny PT offered felicitations, while Assistant HM Hemalatha ma'am delivered a special speech. Students also showcased their creativity with a delightful rhyme about fruits. Naiza Fathima (Emilia) proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all involved.
The Fruit Farm visit display in the Montessori block was a major attraction. Additionally, the fruit market, fruit carvings, and various food items made from fruits were exhibited, providing a visual treat.Each student participated in coloring a fruit basket, showcasing their artistic skills.The students along with their teachers made a tasty fruit salad in class. Learning to prepare healthy snacks like fruit salad can be a fun and educational experience for kids, teaching them about different fruits, nutrition, and teamwork.
Overall, the Fruits Day celebration was a resounding success, promoting awareness and appreciation for the importance of fruits in our lives.
