SCHOOL POLICIES

Working Days
Pre-Primary and Primary(I-V) Classes will work 190 days, and other Classes will work 220 days in a year.(Grade IX ,X and XII will have vacation classes)

Working Hours

Pre-Primary section will work from 9.50am to 3.00pm, Primary Section (I-V) from 9.50am to 4.30pm and other sections from 8.20 am to 3.00 pm with a lunch break from 12.50 pm to 1.30 pm.


Weekend Holidays

»  Pre-Primary and Primary (I-V) :- All Saturdays and Sundays
»  Other classes :- All Sundays and second Saturdays of the month.

General Holidays

These holidays are given in the school calendar for the current academic year. Other holidays will be declared by the management as and when required.

INSTRUCTION TO STUDENTS

» Pupils are expected to be punctual in their attendance.  A pupil will be eligible to appear for the session ending examination if he/she attains attendance as per rules.
» Leave to a student for absence is granted only on an application in the form attached to the diary addressed to the class teacher by the parent/guardian. The period of leave with reason should be recorded therein.
» The name of the student will be removed from the rolls of the school if he/she is absent for 15 continuous
working days without sanction of leave.
» All the pupils from grade VI to grade XII should report at 8.20 am and pupils from other classes at 9.50am sharp.Those who come late will be admitted to class only with the permission of Principal/ Headmaster.
» Perfect silence is to be observed and strict discipline maintained in the class and campus after the bell. Only English is to be used for communication in the campus.
» Every pupil must look after his or her belongings such as books, umbrella, tiffin carrier etc,and it must be marked with the name of the  owner . The school is not responsible for the articles that are lost.
» Every Child should take part in the co-curricular and extra curricular activities.
» Students should be in complete uniform.Proper and fair Hair cut/Shaving is to be done regularly.
» Pupils should not wear costly ornaments especially gold ornaments while at school.
» Only required food need be brought to the school in order to avoid waste of food.
» Damages if any, caused to School properties. will be made good at the expense of the pupil responsible.

The following are considered as serious offenses liable for punishment including dismissal from the school.

1 Possessing/Use of mobile phones/electronic gadgets.If caught, it will be confiscated and will not be returned.
2 Driving of four wheelers and powered two wheelers in and around school campus.
3 Destroying school properties intentionally.
4 Higher level disobedience.
5 Sexual allegations.
6 Stealing others property.
7 Use of intoxicating agents.
8 Malpractices in the examinations.
9 Use of abusive language and man handling.
10 Indecent behaviour.
10 Political Involvement.
11 Any other activity which damages the image of the school.
12 Political involvement.

INSTRUCTION TO PARENTS

»  Parents are bound to obey the rules & regulations of the school.
» Parents are bound to obey the decisions of the School Managing Committee & School Governing Body.
» Parents are expected to co -operate for the smooth functioning of the school by enforcing punctuality, discipline in their ward. They are  expected to take keen interest in the day to day progress of their children.
» Parents should examine their children's progress report and test paper records carefully to ensure that their wards take special interest to study those subjects in which they are weak.
» No pupil suffering from any contagious disease should be sent to the school.
» The pupils should be taken back from the school in the evening before 4.45 pm sharp.
» Unnecessary interference of the parents or guardians to take the children with them out of the school premises during the school hours will not be permitted. On genuine and unavoidable reasons, however, the parents may take their children with prior permission from the Principal/Headmaster
» Complaints, if any, can be routed through class teachers and HM's concerned.
» The Management, Principal and Staff will not be held responsible in any way for mishaps,or loss of life that may occur to the student either in the school campus or while being transported by the school buses.
» The following are considered as serious offences which will invoke actions including blacklisting of parents and termination of their wards
  1. Indecent behaviour towards the employees of the school.
2. Entering the classrooms or staffrooms without permission from the principal.
3. Convening unauthorised parents meet.
4. Other undesirable actions which damages the image of the school. 
» The parents can interact with teachers on working days and ascertain the progress of their wards, as per the following schedule
