Road safety awareness class
As part of the National Road Safety Month observance, a road safety awareness class was conducted at MES Central School, Tirur, for the school's drivers and drivers of other vehicles that transport children to school. The program was welcomed by School Principal Madhusudanan V P, and Motor Vehicle Inspector Suresh Babu TP led the class.
Suresh Babu emphasized the importance of avoiding road accidents and highlighted key aspects drivers should focus on. He also stressed that every individual has a responsibility to ensure road safety. Additionally, he suggested that road safety should be included in the school curriculum and that students who pass the course should be considered to have passed their learner's license.
The event featured a video presentation that detailed recent road accidents and their circumstances. Other attendees included Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector Ajish, School Vice Principal Benny PT, School Superintendent Sini, Transport Department Coordinator Varky K V and Supervisor Shashi Kumar.
