Montessori Day was celebrated on 6 January with great enthusiasm. A special assembly was conducted by the Pre-Primary and Primary section. The programme began with prayer ,prayer song followed by the pledge, led by Mariyam Zakariya (Dahlia). This was followed by a Montessori Timeline presentation, performed by Ayomi (Clavia), Zaiva Mehwish (Emilia), Aysha Azwa (Quesnelia), and Ayra Mariyam (Pavonia).
A special message of Dr. Maria Montessori was delivered by Ridhuparnika of Environment Justicia, emphasizing the importance of Montessori principles in holistic child development. The gathering was addressed by the Principal, Mr. Madusoodanan, and the Vice Chairman,Mr. Rasheed, who shared inspiring words with the students.
A well-coordinated mass drill was performed by the Pre-Primary and Primary students. The programme also included an address by the Vice-Principal, Mr. Benny P.T. The assembly was followed by activity sheet colouring and a photo session, where students from various classes posed with Maria Montessori.
In connection with Montessori Day, sports activities were conducted for Pre-Primary students, including a running race, baby coconut gathering, and a shuttle relay, which brought great excitement and joy to the children. Overall, the Montessori Day celebration was well-organized, joyful, and truly memorable.
