World Environment Day Celebrated at Tirur MES Central School Tirur MES Central School celebrated World Environment Day with a host of eco-friendly initiatives aimed at raising awareness about environmental conservation. As part of the celebration, saplings were distributed to students in a function inaugurated by the school Principal, Mr. V. P. Madhusoodanan. The event was jointly organized by the school’s Science Club and Farmers’ Club, showcasing the importance of student participation in sustainable practices. During the function, Science teacher Mr. Biyas Das delivered an insightful talk on the necessity of protecting nature and promoting green habits among the younger generation. Following the inauguration, students and teachers came together to plant saplings on the school premises, reinforcing the message of nurturing a greener future. The program served as a meaningful reminder of the role educational institutions play in shaping environmentally responsible citizens.
