The Colours Day celebration at MES Central School, Tirur, held on 18th February 2025 was a vibrant and joyous event, filled with excitement and learning opportunities for the Pre-Primary children. The event celebrated the beauty and significance of colours, engaging students in various fun activities.
The celebration commenced with a special assembly, where students and teachers gathered to rekindle the event with enthusiasm and energy. Students delivered impressive speeches on the importance of colours, showcasing their knowledge and creativity. Colour-themed songs and dance performed by the students added melody and fun to the celebration.
An interactive riddle session, was held in which children's proficiency about colours was tested in a playful manner. Later a story presentation was also conducted, which integrated colours into the narrative. Children also participated in a quiz programme based on colours . They got enthusiastically involved in a coloring activity , which promoted their creativity and fine motor skills development.
A colourful display featuring various objects and materials of different colours allowed children to explore and identify different shades in their surroundings.
The Colours Day celebration was a resounding success, providing a platform for children to engage, learn, and celebrate the diversity of colours.
